This course breaks down the details of the procedure into short lessons which build on each other, fostering increased confidence.

Performing a transesophageal echocardiogram requires a knowledge of anatomy, pathology, physics of ultrasound, structure of the probe, and operation of the ultrasound machine as well as the mechanical skills related to manipulating the probe. This course presents the important concepts and steps in a progressive sequence of short lessons, each of which can be completed in less than five minutes.
